The Arsenal Series was first introduced at the beginning of 2020 with the Trident & Sword campaign. Shortly after, the Arrow & Shield were added to the series, and collectively, over 5000 backers have joined our arsenal family. After almost a year-long wait, it is finally time to introduce the 5th & 6th weapon of the Arsenal Series; inspired by the Greek Goddess of the Harvest, Demeter & the Greek God of the Fire, Hephaestus; we present to you: AXE & SICKLE playing cards!
Since the dawn of time, the great Goddess of agriculture, harvest, health, and fertility has wielded her scythe to bring prosperity to humanity. A deeper meaning awaits to be discovered as you open the box and look through the sickles found in the design. Each Edition (Classic and Deluxe) is Limited to 3999 Decks.
The classic edition now features a foiled number seal on each deck, limited to 3999. This makes the classic edition a versatile addition to your collection as you can show off the deck in your card routines or flourishes as well as on your card display.
For the first time in the Arsenal Series: The back design of the classic edition will be printed with a White Border, making it the perfect deck to have in your arsenal as a magician and cardist. For collectors, the deluxe edition is perfect for your collection with its beautiful black core card stock giving it an additional luxurious feel.
Using green sickles with rotational symmetry, a double-bladed scythe is cleverly designed and placed in the center, resembling an "S". Sleek, green lining with sharp angles of different thicknesses create a futuristic aesthetic that contrasts the ancient world where the Goddess was celebrated. We have brought Her to the modern age. We have revitalized her role. We have updated Her worship. She WILL come again.
We have also redesigned the faces of the deck (The Court Cards, The Aces, and the Jokers) to give it a more refined look. Even with all of these upgrades, you will notice that the price of the cards has remained the exact same as what it always was!
Like the Arrow and Shield deck, the court cards of the Sickle edition are the most intricate components of the entire deck. We have revamped the artwork of the Olympian Gods on the twelve court cards to give it a more exquisite and mighty look. They are illustrated with detailed and elegant green lines that emphasize their fierce weapons and glimmering silver eyes.
